Finding Your Homes Style

What is your Architectural Style? If you are having a hard time pinpointing your style, you are not alone. Most of us have those Child hood memory’s of the well-kept house at the end of the block. Where no children would dare hangout or play. In fear of being accused of walking on the lawn.   On the other hand, maybe it was a vacation home you rented with family and friends, which looked like a page out of a Home and Garden Magazine. Everyone had there own private space and a fabulous view. Moreover, let us not forget those visits to our grandparents homes were there was creative storage for things cherished. In addition, there was always ways room on the porch for everyone to sit.

Southern Image Design Builders takes the time to help you explore your Dream Home possibilities. Our unique approach to designing your Dream Home for today’s lifestyle combines several Architectural Styles. Your input in the homes design to reach the ultimate floor plan and exterior results is important every step of the way. However, if you need to but a label or two on your style, below will find some of our favorites

Queen Anne– Painted clapboard siding, wrap around porches, medium pitched roofs, dormers, stained glass windows and transom windows. Interiors with long stair ways, tall ceilings, decorative crown, baseboard and picture moldings
